The Telemanagement Forum Interface Program (TIP) is creating a set of OSS interfaces for the telecoms industry. The TIP Framework supports the definition of these interfaces through a set of software artifacts and specifications which define the core technology choices for these interfaces. The TIP Open source project hosted at http://openoss.sourceforge.net/ is enabling an open source developer community in support of creating the TIP Framework
The Eclipse Tigerstripe project is an incubator project hosted by the Eclipse foundation. It supports collaborative model driven development on very large software models. The TIP Framework is providing Plugins (also called Generators) for Tigerstripe which will generate code from models primarily derived from the TM Forum SID model Information Framework (SID)
